Jane Kelly Williams, originally from Newnan, Ga. moved to NYC to go to college at The Manhattan School of Music. She has written songs, played guitar and piano since she was 12 years old.
Her first 2 albums, recorded for an indie European label, brought several international tours including Japan, Spain, Holland and Belgium.
Her next album recorded several years later, for Mercury records, "Tapping the Wheel", met with critical acclaim and her song, "Breaking Into the Past" became a top 10 single on AC radio. Another song, "Show Me How to Catch a Fish", from the same record was featured in the major motion picture, "Picture Perfect".
Her follow- up record, "The Patchwork of Lost and Found" is newly released here and on her new website and is sold at gigs.
Jane was a recipient of the Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation Grant in the popular songwriting category. She has enjoyed teaching songwriting workshops to adults and children.
Jane continues to write, record, perform and make her new town music.
